En tant que projet de frivolité d'été, les frivoles de la classe de frivolité en ligne ont réécrit et modernisé les motifs de ce livre de frivolité vintage. Des diagrammes et de nouveaux modèles ont été préparés pour aider le tatter à suivre plus facilement les modèles. La brochure originale du domaine public et la nouvelle version sont publiées en ligne pour être partagées avec tous les lambeaux du monde entier.

"Quarante dessins originaux en frivolité par Nellie Hall Youngburg, dessins nouveaux et uniques avec des instructions complètes pour chaque motif conçu et exécuté par Nellie Hall Youngburg Brookings, SD © 1921" semble avoir été publié à l'origine en privé. Il a été réimprimé comme "Tatting # 6" en 1982 par la Maison des bouleaux blancs. L'original est un livret du domaine public.

Le nom du tatter qui a aidé à préparer chaque modèle est indiqué sur chaque page. Sauf indication contraire, les diagrammes sont de Jane Eborall. Les conceptions sont diverses. Ils comprennent des bordures et des insertions, de petits motifs adaptés comme accents ou s'ils sont tatoués en plusieurs articles parfaits pour créer des nappes et des couvre-lits. Les cols, empiècements et bonnet bébé contiennent des éléments peu visibles. Et la pièce de couverture, lorsqu'elle est tachetée de couleur, est frappante.
